Content agency Spoon is owned by the Bonnier Group, a Swedish multi-channel media group with 175 companies in 16 countries.

The sale of 100 percent of the shares in Tidningskompaniet, which took place on February 24 but was announced on March 5, makes Spoon one of Sweden's largest communications agencies, with 120 employees and approximately SEK 200 million in sales. The company will have its headquarters in Stockholm and an office in Gothenburg.

As a single unit, the company will have strong resources to challenge the competitors - ranging from TV production companies to ad agencies - who appear as new platforms become popular.
