MAQS LAW FIRM ASSISTS IN THE ACQUISITION OF VASAKRONAN

AP Fastigheter AB has on 3 July 2008 acquired Vasakronan Group and its real estate from the Swedish state. The property holdings are valued at SEK 41.1 billion (c:a Euro 4.3 billion). MAQS Law Firm has assisted AP Fastigheter AB with legal advice during the entire acquisition. The assignment is yet another demonstration of MAQS continuous expansion and confirms MAQS position as a leading law firm within the field of the real-estate M&A.
MAQS assistance has included due diligence and negotiation in relation to the acquisition and financing. Patric Olofsson has been partner responsible and project manager with the assistance of, i.a. associate Katrin Troedsson (due diligence), partner Sten Gejrot and partner Lars Isacsson (financing), partner Johan Söderlund (construction and projects), partner Bo Sjöholm (leasing and usufruct), partner Magdalena Persson (transactions), partner Torbjörn Lindmark (employment and benefits) and associate Johan Lannering (competition).
