Bo Sjöholm has for nearly twenty years worked with many of Sweden’s leading retail chains, an experience that has given him a deep knowledge not only of the retail industry in general, but also of the legal issues that might arise in related companies. Bo notably specialises on the questions and issues faced by chains which are wholly or partly operated by franchisees such the preparation of franchise agreements and negotiations with the franchisees and landlords, and he has also helped several chains in their bids to become franchise operations.

Bo is also involved in Svensk Franchise (’Swedish Franchise’, formerly Svenska Franchiseföreningen), which the central organisation for franchise issues in Sweden.

Considering the fact that location is a key factor for the success, profitability and livelihood of a store, Bo has long worked with leading real estate firms. Bo has also offered a variety of customised trainings on the question of commercial tenancy for clients as well as in other contexts.
