MAQS has a department with extensive experience of working with environmental law cases as well as of the various areas of environmental law, e.g. pollution liability, licensing issues with regard to environmentally hazardous operations and other environmental issues.

At MAQS, our assignments are commissioned by both private companies and public bodies. The scope of the assignments may therefore vary depending on the client; a liability inquiry on behalf of a government agency, representing clients who are being held accountable for the presence of pollution and representing clients during the transfer of property involving a suspected or actual case of pollution.

Our CleanTech department has developed together with more traditional environmental law. The department monitors the development of law for companies working with clean technology, CleanTech. We have experience of representing clients in conjunction with the establishment of renewable energy, for example in the wind power sector, and collaborative projects. These issues require knowledge not only of traditional environmental law but also of property law and usufruct law, financing and securities law, and corporate law.
