Each year the daily paper Børsen appoints both fast growing companies and the so-called Gazelle companies. This year 2009, MAQS Law Firm is among the few large law firms which had figured on the list of firms in Denmark, which as a consequence of a constant growth during the last years was appointed as a ‘fast-growing company’. The growth is among other things due to various legal work for large foreign companies to which the office can offer 15 languages spoken together with a specialization within all fields of law. In this way, MAQS Law Firm also contributes to growth in Danish export and meets the increase in unemployment in Denmark – and not only within the field of law.

The financial crisis is, however, also affecting the law firms. MAQS Law Firm is challenged by re-striction on the clients’ budget and new price structures which require a dynamic access to the legal advice of the firm. These challenges have been met resulting in satisfactory from all parties involved.

By the establishment of the firm in Scandinavia and the Baltic region 7 years ago, MAQS Law Firm was in the front line when it came to the firm’s barrier-breaking law advising. The combination of the law advising and the persistence of the firm have made MAQS Law firm a highly interesting law firm for a number of international companies. We therefore stick to our strategy for holding on to the region and the international work along with our happiness of being appointed as a fast growing company.
